LogLogic Supports New VMware Comprehensive Cloud Infrastructure Suite

VMware has just announced a series of new and updated products (on VMware web site) as part of its strategy to define and build a new software category, the cloud infrastructure.  Needless to say, the news didn't come as a surprise to us at LogLogic.  As a long-time strategic partner of VMware, we work closely with the company to support all of its products, including the new VMware vSphere® 5 and several updated products: the VMware vShield™ 5v, the VMware vCenter™ Site Recovery Manager 5 and VMware vCloud® Director 1.5. These virtualization solutions, together with complementary solutions from LogLogic and other VMware partners, can power enterprise customers' private clouds as well as service provider customers' public clouds.

This new software-driven virtual cloud infrastructure requires corresponding virtual software-driven security products. Organizations won't move to cloud computing if they don't trust it to keep their data secure, and that's where we come in. You can take a look at our June 16 blog post, "The best VMware support in the industry?" to learn more about our work with VMware's engineering department to build a better IT data management system.  The post points out a few of our firsts in support of VMware solutions; for example, LogLogic is the only vendor to offer PCI and ISO 27002 compliance for the entire VMware environment.

We continue our tradition of leadership in the VMware market with our solutions for the company's new cloud infrastructure suite.  To learn more about our VMware solutions, visit our VMware partnership page here, or catch up with us at VMworld from Aug. 29-Sept, 1 at the Venetian at Las Vegas.
